Buying Tobacco & Alcohol
As listed above, there are limitations as to how many bottles of wine each cabin may bring aboard. Sea Monkey(Δ)s who don't plan to bring any bottles may volunteer to carry bottles for someone else. Bottles are typically handed over before boarding, carried through check in, and then returned to the original owner once onboard. Volunteers have affectionately become known as “wine mules”.

There is usually a “drink of the day” which is discounted.
Happy Hours often have “2 for 1” drink deals.
Get a black Russian in a large glass, then go to the ice cream counter to make it a white Russian.
We found that anything other than the soda drinks package just wasn't worth it for us, and I have heard from other folks on the cruise that having the alcohol package just made them feel like they had to drink a TON to “get their money's worth”. But YMMV on that, it really depends on personal preference. Also we had luck with just one of us getting the soda package and getting two sodas each time. And you can buy drinks package on the boat the first day or two, no need to buy them ahead of time.
There may be waiter seat service for drinks in the main theater. There may also be a bar open in the theater. But, if you don't want to wait (or cause interruptions) grab your drink at another bar on the way in.
